LOL!!

Jack - If you have trouble distinguishing the bottom from the top on this plane, then I propose you sell me your Carden really cheap (I'm thinking fire-sale here!!!) and then get out of the hobby really quick!!!

The other option is to light up a few flares and tape them on the bottom of the plane!!!

The checkers on the tips of the stabs will get fixed up tomorrow night as per your suggestion a couple posts ago!!!!! Pics to follow tomorrow night!

Cheers

Trev

Oh, ya - It was a marathon covering day today!!... 3 hours in the afternoon while my boys were napping and 6 hours tonight!!

I got the left stab covered top and bottom and the checkers modified on the right / added to the left.

Just need to seal the hinge lines and epoxy in the Dubro control horns!!

Re: 126" Carden Extra 260 w/DA170 RE3

Ok, after another 5 hours, the top of the right wing is now covered

This is the first build that I've done the "spray-the-balsa-with-hairspray-and-then-sand-the-surfaces-with-400-grit-paper" trick and the difference in the finish is absolutely amazing! This is the closest I've ever gotten to an automotive paint finish!!

Just one wing to go (top and bottom) and the covering is all done!!!

Jack... I was really happy with the finish on my Ferrari Edge and your 43 percent E300 until I used the hairspray trick on this one!!

You'll be shocked on your next one when you see the difference!!!!
