RAF Duxford - Flying Legends 2015
Posted a few pictures from this year's Flying Legends Event. 3 of my good friends and I went on a bucket list trip over the England for this event. Awesome trip. Spent 6 full days of our 9 day trip at Duxford. Stayed in Cambridge, hung out occasionally at the Eagle Pub - RAF Bar and spent a day at the RAF Hendon Museum. Warbird Mecca. Highlights for me included 11 spitfires beating up the airfield at once and a formation demo by the only flying Blenheim, 3 or the 4 remaining airworthy MK1 Spits and a Hurricane.

Well, second chance in September! ...... need to win some money.  Sep 19&20 as they are hosting: http://www.iwm.org.uk/events/iwm-dux...rsary-air-show by my count in the aircraft list so far, I see 21 Spits and 5 Hurricanes with a couple of 109's ..... and the red Arrows on Sunday ......if you into jets, because as everyone knows, jets are for kids. hehe |

Yep! Jets are for kids. Really planes use Merlins (or really big radials)!
