first scale glider

I absolutely love my Easystar 2 but it is no longer challenging my abilities. Plus, it's mainly used for FPV now anyway. It's time to move up to a scale glider.

I've always been a fan of the FMS planes, I've owned several of them and never had any major problems. As such, I have decided that my next plane will be a scale glider. Just not sure which one. My choices are as follows.

FMS Fox 2.3

FMS ASK23

FMS ASW28.

Which, in your opinion, would I be the best to go with?

Re: first scale glider

If my arm was twisted , My choice would be the asw28 or the fox. Not very scale with a prop in the nose though, but they look nice. Do you have spaces to fly at in GP ssrc30?http://www.fmsmodel.com/products_lis...692455425.html

Re: first scale glider

Oh yes we have some really good spots around here. My inlaws have a nice spot on their farm and there's an excellent place at Klusken Hills as well. Dunvegan park has some good spot too but it's a bit of a climb to get up to the area.

The ASW sure looks like a nice glider. Not too many complaints on it.

Re: first scale glider

Great to hear that someone else around is doing some glider flying. I will send you a PM to get in contact with me if you would like. I am on the banks of the Dunvegon on the South side. I am just finishing up a new glider and there is another glider flyer on the North side as well as one in Peace River . we also plan on doing some towing this year as I have a MAAC sanctioned flying field on my home quarter .

Dennis,
I don't think your heli will be able to tow me up but I am thinking maybe if you can still run fast....

Check out my build log with the new fancy balsa!
