Every Saturday morning, a group of modelers meets at a wood shop (in a secret location in Delta, BC ) to socialize, and build airplanes. I was a priveleged member of this group when my buddy and I built our jet. Some of the creations that come out of this shop are absolutely mind boggling. Using techniques from ranging from advanced vacuum formed composites to hand crafted wood, some amazing aircraft have emerged.


This half scale Spacewalker is the work of Dave Collis - an outstanding builder, and flyer. Although he built most of this in his home, he brought it down to the Skunk Works from time to time to do some work on it. I don't know many of the specs, but it is powered by a Quadra 100 - which looks like a little .049 inside that huge cowling......Dave was building floats for it too, so I'd guess that we may see it at Shuswap this year
