Awesome!!! The days are ticking down until MAIDENFEST 2011 - Sat April 9th!!!!

It's 4pm and I'm going to take a break for an hour from the build and go fly on the golf-course next door (sorry to rub it in Brad).

I've logged 21 flights with my Electrified 88" EF Yak in the past 3 days - Lots of electrons consumed!!!!

Yeah Baby !!!!!!!

Big Red might be taken out to the field for another run up. A test run of the smoke system, and maybe some taxi tests

WOW!!

Looks as though scaleguy's supervision went OK.

That is the trickest fuse I've ever seen!!!

If Air Runner can have AM wheels wingburner can have a little carbon.

Unbelievable workmanship and cool design to boot Trevor.

Yeah I let Trev have only one pop and do work while I made sure the rest of the pop didn't go warm! I'm the Irishman after all so had to keep with tradition.

Re: BBT/WINGBURNER --> 4 REDHEADS and a CARDEN

Phhheeew... I'm tired now - 13 flights with various electrics this afternoon on Hole #5 of the Millcroft G&CC - the neighbours will be glad when the course reopens!!

Anyways, here are a few shots of the completed rear hatch. Two 4-40 cap-screws through hardpoints will do the trick. These holes go through the 3/8" square balsa cross-bracing on the fuse with a blind nut on the other side. I made both of these sticks from high-density balsa when I put the fuse together and also soaked them in thin CA, so they're good and strong (not like there's any force anyways )

And some scrap light balsa stock to finish off around the tail wheel.

You can't help but look at that awesome AIRMAN tailwheel - incredible workmanship by Rex and with full bearings to boot

Re: BBT/WINGBURNER --> 4 REDHEADS and a CARDEN

Hey Trev the build is looking awsome with all that carbon.I've got a couple of questions to ask,
What do you thin the 30 min epoxy with?
What glue do you use to glue the carbon flat on the engine box rails?
What glue do you use for edge gluing sheeting?
Thanks in advance

Cheers
Steve
