It's only thanks to the participants that it's getting bigger and better every year and for some, it's a long distance, we hope to make it interesting and enjoyable for everyone...

Because this is the first event of the year in our zone, I believe it is the best way to start the year...renew acquaintances and friendships. It's a perfect start to the year, and it's well done, no fanfare, but always most enjoyable. I must take my camera for pics. I can see some coming for the prizes alone!!! It's better than many fun fly's for prizes. Come to think of it.....now I'm jealous!!!!!

Sunday April 17th is the date for the Annual Northern Ontario Swap Meet at Centennial Arena, Hanmer, in the City of Greater Sudbury. It will be bigger and better this year with tickets available for a draw to take home a 26% Pilot Sbach 342 from Paragon RC. This is a 73inch wingspan plane for 30cc gas or electric power and it comes with the carbon fiber accessories. There will be a seminar on the challenge and fun of Scale Aerobatics with IMAC by MAAC RC Scale Aerobatics Committee Chair, Lee Prevost. Also, during the day, there will be an assembly seminar and flying demonstrations of the Foam Star planes by Mr. Blue Foamy himself, Gaston Boissonneault. Indoor flying will be available for those who want to fly. Admission is $5.00 which also gets you a table for the swap meet. Event time is 10am to 5pm, come early to assure yourself of a table. Lunch will be available for purchase.

Sounds great Jim, looking forward to seeing you. Sounds like table space could be at a premium but we will accomodate everyone somehow. It is going to be the place to be this Sunday for all modelers, especially those in the North.
