hi need the cg for a funtana 50
anyone have a manual lying around and can give me recommended throws and cg flew a new to me model today was pretty hairy lol

I found the manual for it... I'll put it in my truck and get it to you at the field. Dial up your expo and reduce your rates a bit if it was hairy... The CG as it was set up was forward of the recommended location, so it flew more like a sport plane than 3d, but completely predictable. Remember though, the plane is very light, so big winds can be challenging.

Ya it was a bit hairy I will go over it in tomorrow
You had marks on wing it was on aft marks when I checked My receiver is I tiny thing maybe the difference in weight ? I will try again tomorrow afternoon Thanks Ed

From the manual, the cg is 5-1/16 to 5-11/16 back from the leading edge. Set your low rates to 3/4" on the ailerons, 7/8 on the elevator and whatever you want on the rudder. With the OS 91, takeoff at half throttle, you won't need any more. At full throttle, it will go vertical forever, and be way too fast for level flight.
