Hello, I am installing a New Style DL100 in my Hangar 9 33% Edge 540 and was wondering if anybody has or knows where to get the drill template.

If you might have one or know where I can get one your help would be great!

Thank you!

ThunderRC, Azure Hobbies are 2 that come to mind. I suggest to get 2 new spark plugs from them as well, since the ones that come with the motor are not as good as the replacements.

I don't know if this will help or not but if you take the front bolt down plate off the prop shaft, you'll have a ready made template!

Here is the order of pieces so you'd know what part I'm talking about starting back to front....I hope!

Spinner back plate > Prop > Bolt down plate > Prop bolts > Spinner > Spinner bolt!

Actually for my DAs and DL50's I used the bolt plate as a drill jig. Work carefully and it does not harm the piece at all and the holes are perfectly alligned in the prop when the job is finished. I'm cheep, what can I say!

I think he is looking for the engine mounting template for the firewall.
If Azure can not supply one, Look around online. I am sure there is a downloadable one somewhere.

Ok thanks, sorry, the first thing that popped into mind was drilling the prop holes. I had completely forgotten about the Engine mounting template.

I have one for the DL50 but its probably different for the 100 twin!

You can go to PAU website http://www.performancercaircraft.com/html/manuals.html and check the manual for the 36% Edge (second last page). It has one for the DA100 which I believe is the same.
