Hi Guys
Great Hobbies must have been doing inventory this week and found some Clancy Aviation Lazy Bee kits.
They have two kits left.

Re: Lazy Bee's at Great Hobbies

I still have and fly my original Lazy Bee... a great design for fun flying - kinda' like the original park flyer!

The special has ailerons I think... I am tempted to get one

Re: Lazy Bee's at Great Hobbies

These are classic planes. The most fun you can have with a .15 engine. I bought a few kits when they were still available.

We lost a lot when Clancy stopped making these kits.

Grab one while you can

Re: Lazy Bee's at Great Hobbies

The great thing about the 'BEE' family is that if you have a set of plans you can make another one up from scratch with no difficulty - they are just a bunch of balsa sticks - but MAN CAN THEY FLY!!

Re: Lazy Bee's at Great Hobbies

I have an original Big Bee kit 72" that I might build this winter, time will dictate.

Re: Lazy Bee's at Great Hobbies

How about this for a coincidence, I bought two Lazy Bee kits from Great hobbies, gave one to a friend for Christmas after all, it's no fun having just one "Bee" at the field.
Here's where the story gets interesting, I was visiting my daughter in Winnipeg and stopped in to see a buddy who I have flown control line with for years before I moved to Ontario, who just happened to be cleaning his shop, as we caught up on things I related the story of my acquisition of two Lazy Bee kits and how I gave one away, and how I really wanted the "Big Lazy Bee" 72 inch, after coffee in the kitchen we proceeded to his shop, well what do you think he had sitting on his couch in the rec room?
You guessed it a 72" Big Lazy Bee kit, well we chatted a little more, I left to return home.
Stay with me now the kicker is coming, a couple of weeks later just before Christmas the phone rings, it's my buddy, he asks, do I still have the Lazy Bee kit and is it opened, yes I have it and no never opened.
He offers to trade me the "Big Lazy Bee" for my Lazy Bee.
So I guess I too will be building a "72" Big Lazy Bee" for the 2010 season.
I guess good things happen when you give unconditionally.
