i'm trying to help somebody with a Baja engine, seems like a 29 cc absolutely no compresion, then he said he bought another one used, and when i looked at it, its the same, no compresion as well. My question is, this would not be normal for this engine would they?
i can only compare it to my aircraft engines and they are far apart. And for my next question can we swap this with a zenoah engine, with the same size? I know nothing about gas car engine.

If the engine starts easy and idles well, don't worry about the compression. These engines are usually the Fuelie 23cc. If someone installed the piston with the racing ring, it may seem low on compression. This racing ring is 1.5 mm thick, used to have less ring drag and allow for higher rpm without ring flutter.
