Prop choice for piped 61

I bought a Laser Arrow this summer from KMP. I intitially set it up with my trusty old TT46 Pro just to get it flying, but flight performance wasn't to my expectations. So anyways, now that the flying season is pretty much over here in 'toba I'm installing a piped ST S61 K.
I'm going for speed, so I'm figuring on an 11x8 or 10x10 if I can get it. Any other suggestions that'll work great with a piped 61?

Re: Prop choice for piped 61

I have a Patriot with a Magnum Pro .61 and a pipe, I have been running a 11X9 ASP finger slicer and have been having good results, the static rpm was a little low, but once in the air, with the gear up and moving it seemed to sing quite nice.

see you in Gimli

Re: Prop choice for piped 61

WET!! no kidding, I folded up my tent trailer and bugged out Sat afternoon. It's a good thing I showed up early, got there Tues and managed to burn a gallon of gas and a gallon of glow befor the weather crapped out.
I even went back the following weekend for annother go at flying, weather was much better, but I ended up pulling out all the fence posts we had drove in to the ground on the week befor.

Re: Prop choice for piped 61

You were beside me then. I had the brown on brown F150 with a 25' Trail lite trailer!

The kids liked the puddles, but the wife ... not so happy

Kenora for the float fly at Rabbit Lk. but I had to work for the Sept fun fly.

If you came as far as Kenora for float flying, you have to come to our Bonny Bay Float Fly...the flying is good and the supper is Great!
