G Wagon build off

Ok boys and girls. Cloddyman was able to get his hands on 2 G wagon's and since I ended up with one. I thought it may be a neat Idea if him and I had a friendly scale build off. And the final results will be judged by you the people. Not sure how that will work yet... rating out of ten of just vote for your fav. Based on scale appearence, quality of build, etc.

- Must use G wagon hard body

- must comply with all scale rules

- Mamimum tire height 3.5 inches on 1.9 inch rims (Highlift size tires)

- Chassis must not extent more than .75" below original body before step rails removed. if removed.

- Must be sprung not droop setup, leaf or coils.

- Original lights on vehicle must be functional.

- Wheel base must remain near stock approx 9.5" +/- 1/8"

- And the build must be compleated by March 31 2008

We chose a far away date because both of us have several other build we are working on over the winter. And neither of our money trees blossom in the winter.

Let the building and trash talking begin.

This will be fun, and yes updates and pics will be posted as they become available. This will be entirely judged by the members of the forum, and we already know who's is gonna win
just joking, this will be competitive and friendly at the same time, there is no money on the line nor any prizes, unless anybody really felt like putting something up for the winner

So let the buildoff begin!!!!!!

Yep I did forget to pay my insurance. But I may now where another one is that I can steal all my parts back

I'm not going to give it all away but I think I'm going to use some parts off my old landrover. If anybody knows landrovers they may know what I'm thinking.
