Unhappy Rolling truck?

If you have your truck electronics off and you truck has reverse. Should it not roll forward with no restrictions if it is set on reverse, and vice versa if it is set on forward it should roll backwards with no restrictions? Just curious. My truck is set to the forward on the controller and it is hard to push either way.

If the truck is battery operated it won't because after all the slop in the drivetrain is taken up you start to move the motor and of course it's going to have resistance. If it's a nitro you are talking about then yes it should roll freely unless your brakes are engaged or your clutch shoes might be rubbing againist the clutch bell causing resistance. That's just a start of what it might be.

It is the Savage 25. And I still figure it should be able to roll freely, right?

It should unless something is binding someplace... whether it be a blown ring/pinon gear, internal tranny damage, brakes are locked, clutch is melted to the bell, etc... there are many different reasons why it won't roll.

Question

Sorry I forgot to mention, it rolls but you have to push a little bit more than normal. So I figure something is binding, where should I start to look first?
