Yeah, saw this in the newspaper this morning. Over $30,000??? Is this heli really that advanced or is it like the old story of the government paying $1,000 for a toilet seat?

For that price. I can build 4 of the exact same rigs. The gear they use is available to anyone. You get a nice case for everything though.

I have a feeling that cost covers the heli, camera/camera mount support, maintenance and training.

Hey , the OPP have been using it for some time now, Sharpy on here is the first pilot for them , I fly with him from time to time,it.s a whole lot more then you think there for the money, "Yes" you can build as good a drone , but it stops there.
