This is what I'm aiming at...

http://www.hobbyhobby.com/store/prod...roducts_id=365

Or bite the bullet and get this one below...(That means more over-time at work..sigh and sobs)..

http://www.hobbyhobby.com/store/prod...ducts_id=20714

I'm a noob starting out and about a month or two ago I bought the Blade CP.It didn't take long for me to realise I need to move up,the blade CP wasn't cutting it.
I have to always look at the weather channel to see if its not too windy before I step out to fly the CP.. .After months of reading, research and recommendations, almost everybody seem to say the same thing, get a SIM(practice) and the best radio you can afford before anything else and as such, that exactely what I want to do.I will get the Trex 600 electric eventually.
Browsing and reading through the electronic section, most fellas seem to be giving props to the DX7,the question is,is it better than the one in the link above ?I dont wanna sound like I have money to burn,I just want the radio I will buy now to be future proof for a while.
So,now if any of veterans.. or anybody here thinks $500 can buy a better radio than the one I have in mind, your recommedations will be appreciated greatly.Thanks.

Both are very nice radios. That Spektrum 9303 makes me drool! But if you are a heli person from what I've noticed cause I don't fly heli's. But most use Futaba radios. I would say if you have a local club that you can visit. That would be your best choice. Somebody there will be glad to help. Then you can decide from there. If you get a radio thats more common between other modelers it will be easier for somebody to help you out and show you how to do all your mixes and such. But the DX7 is a great bang for the buck radio under 500 bucks.

The DX7 has been getting good reviews,as I said earlier, and I know saving money is always good.. ,but dont you think if I can afford a better radio than the DX7,it will be a good idea to get now and get it over with ?

Depends on how many channels you are going to use as well. DX 7 is 7 channel while the Futaba and JR you are looking at are 9 channel.

before you buy look at Multiplex

http://www.multiplexusa.com/product_fs.htm

For the money NO other company offers as much

Note every time you hear of a new wave in RC understand that it came from this company

DSM, PCM, Dual rate you name it they were first to offer it

and if you get an EVO as new options come on stream you just have to plug your radio in and update

Multiplex is the defacto standard in RC if anyone tells you different just look for yourself

But it take a little time to learn how to use all options but as a newbe I guess you are willing to put in the time

My JR radios work awesome. JR kicks the crap out of Futaba. Judging form my experience, JR is the only way to go. I spend my hard earned cash on JR so that should be a good indication. I've seen hundreds of radios in action and i've yet to see a multiplex radio in action....from the look of it, they aern't that popular...i wonder why that is?

Another option to consider is to buy used. With the advent of DSM there are lots of deals to be had on high end FM radios. As a noob the odds of getting what you want or need without really knowing what that is are slim. I pick up a used JR9303 on this site and have used it for a year and a half with no issues. Great radio by the way.

Greetings
I would go to the club that you have intent to join and ask them , and you would get a whole lot of added info at the same time

Just my 2 cents
