I agree with you marktoo i do not understand where the savings is i am fairly new to the hobby and have priced it out and to me i was not going to save much.I bought a used trex 450 pro off a guy at the club and it has been awesome, and i know you could not build a clone with the parts that are in it for what i got.But i guess it just has to do with what your wants and needs will be to get out of the heli.

Amainhobbies in the US carry all parts for the Frenzy.

If the heli is a poor seller it will slip away and be gone

I didn't get it either until I ordered and received a HK450 alloy kit. I ordered the kit, the motor, 40A esc, 4 micro servos, the 401 knock off gyro and 2x 3s 2200mAh lipos. With shipping the grand total was $165 CDN. I was skeptical but I have put it together and it flies ok. Some slop in the linkages but a little tweaking and it is a very solid helicopter for the price. Not sure where you can find a good used trex 450 for that price with 2 batteries and electronics. No doubt the quality is not the same as a brand name but for most it doesnt matter as most people push the envelope and eventually brain fart and put it in. Nice to do it on the cheap.

Re: HK600GT Whats in the box

Why did I lose you when I said Im using analog servos???
4 digital servos would be above 100 dollars. 4 analog servos I have kickin around...dont cost me anything. With my flying skills, digital servos will make absolutley no difference.

Re: HK600GT Whats in the box

I don't get it.

Your HK-500GT self-destructed probably due to poor quality parts (main gear) and then you tempt faith with an even more expensive model by the same manufacturer?

Digital servos and a GOOD gyro will make a HUGE difference regardless of the skill level. That's why the Align 500 ESP Superior combo is such a great deal at $500- 550 CAD, all digital servos + gyro included.

How will you ever level the swash plate when the analog servos never return to the same position ???

... also liked the cat out of the box bit!

Re: HK600GT Whats in the box

i learned that using low grade servos the hard way and took a hard crash due to failure, and rc canuck you not to far away from testing servos and putting hard load on them i see that your already starting to try loops hovering is one thing once you start to flip back and fourth it really test them out.
