hey,

i have a savy with dual disk brakes and at first they work great but after like 5 mins they don't brake at all. i first thought they needed new pads so i bought some and put them on and that didn't work. now i realized that the screws are backing out what can i do to fix this?

Thanks,

Red locktite is absolutely rediculous. I've seen people put too much of the red stuff and break treads trying to remove the bolt or w/e. The Blue stuff should work fine...and the green stuff is just weak.

dual disc brakes for savage

i bought the hpi dual disc kit for my savage and found the braking to be WORSE than the single disc setup so i threw the dual discs in the garbage and reinstalled the original single disc setup.

now i have my single disc setup back on my savage it brakes very well .

imo i wouldnt ever recommend changing to the dual disc setup
