Hobbico Superstar 40 trainer - RCCanada

I have a Superstar trainer for sale and have made a couple mods that will allow some basic aerobatic training as well.

The wing centre section is glassed, the dihedral reduced to about 1-2 degrees and the wing modified to use 1 servo per aileron. Inverted flight, stall turns, loops and rolls are all much easier allowing you to learn alot more on this plane than a typical trainer.

My 10 year old son competed at the Nationals and placed 2nd in Sportsman with this plane. It's got only 30-40 supervised flights and no crashes.

The plane comes with 5 Futaba S3004 servos , JR heavy duty switch harness, JR1500mAh battery, and is balanced for an OS50. The 46 or 55 will be drop ins. (The engine is not included).

Also includes a buddy box and spare nose gear, spinner and prop.

Asking $150.

I'm in Mississauga so I hope one of the new guys sees this and responds. I can bring it to the OMAC north feild if it needs to be seen.

If the weather ever improves I'll just take it to the Oakville feild on Thursday night. I was going to take it there tonight but I'm guessing there's no flying in the rain.

Yes, it's still for sale. It will be at the Oakville filed next Thursday (provided it is not raining). You can see it there.

The Plane was there tonight...I don't think anyone showed up to view it.

If anyone is intersted, let me know. I'll be at the Oakville site on some Thursdays, most Friday and Saturday evenings and can bring the plane anytime.
