i've read the best clutch set up for a truggy is composite mugen shoes, with mugen 0.9mm springs, suppsoedly get like 4+ gallons on a clutch, sounds weird to me, but there are guys that swear by it, so thats what i'm going to try this year, can't be any worse than what i used last year, couple runs and i had to file the shoes all down again,

well i was more giving another option, apparently you can get the same clutch wear from the mugen set up, as you can from either the werks or V6, but it costs alot less,

i've also heard of people having issues with both the werks and V6 in a truggy, IMO they are more meant for buggies, truggies require totally different clutch set ups, since they have the heavier wheels, and the engines used in them usually dont have the same revs as in buggies,

but between the werks and orion, I would go with the orion, cause i like orange better than purple,

IMHO the V6 all the way! I've tried both and the V6 is the winner so far. IME the problem with the Werks clutch is the way the pins are fastened in the flywheel. One of the pins walked out on me and tilted the pressure plate causing uneven engagement between the different clutch pads. One side was OK and the other side was engaging too early. It was funky.

But the V6 so far is wicked. The Orion clutch looks to be more robust. Its construction is nice and beefy. It also has tons of grab but it has to be warmed up. At first it don't do squat. But after a couple fo minutes it warms up and it grabs really well. I can't detect any slippage. The buggy just takes off like a rocket!

I believe Tefflawn had a C6 with the V6 in his TTR ST-1 for a while. I believe it would work pretty well in a truggy. It works awesome in a buggy though.

So for me the V6 is the best choice between the two. Although a good set of aluminum shoes do awesome! That Werks clutch is the only thing they make that I don't like! I haven't tried the tires yet though.

regards

I alway use this clutch on my OS V-Spec and RG
And i love the Werks clutch

I have the 3 different pad, Rulon, carbon and tefllon.
