Having the inspire has been nothing but a challenge to keep in the air,at least with me
DJI's firmware upgrades either go well or shut you down or even cause hardware failures
Its almost to the point to keep the inspire and associated equipment away from net access so then its cannot temp you to firmware update
I am running inspire 1 -3 batteries and 2 rc units with the marco polo locator if the inspire goes missing.
My flying experience has been good ,when i can fly ---I had tons of trouble with the last update and a master RC failed shipped it back to CA ,they sort of fixed it( some cosmetic problems,rubber sides coming away bad glue job)
Its quite a hand full but does fly and does take excellent videos but if you belong to any of the forums its a constant worry about a fly away
My first flight in 2014 was into a rose bush and i blamed myself even after having many flights with the phantom 2 ,which i still have as its not easy to sell a phantom2 with the rest of the new stuff out there.
I wouldn't mind being able to communicqte with other nearby canadians and exchange ideas
