Hi fellow flyers: I was lucky enough to take flights in a Stearman and a Harvard back in 2000, at the Hamilton air show!
Love the Stearman, Harvard I found actually painfully LOUD!!, even with plugs and earphones. I know loud, I ride a 126 HP Harley Davidson, it is quiet by comparison!
I'd really have to think twice about the Harvard again, but I'd fly all day in the Stearman.
I saw a big scale Stearman at Kitchener last fall (14 feet I think), looked to fly like the real plane, brought back the memorable real flight. Coooool! flytwice

That was Karl Gross's Stearman at Kitchener, what an incredible piece of workmanship. And that big Moki radial on it pulls like a freight train!
It's completely built from scratch including drawing the plans. Karl's a master builder and Top Gun competitor. I'm lucky enough to fly at his home field (BRCM) and get a first hand look at all his projects.
