Dont believe everything you read. Just so you know, the jetranger does not use the weights for the same reason you think some people use them on toy helicopters. If you do a little more research you will find out that the bell 206 uses those weights to set the nutreal position of the tail rotor pedals in a hover. You can add or remove washers to trim the center position of the tail. So, on full scale helicopters.. that's not what it's all about.

Amazing what you can find on google with a bit of work. That info was from a bell maintenance book I found in a few mins.
