Nice to hear from you, you just caught me before heading for work. I flew it at first without braces, it flies awesome but you can see the twisting of the tail section during rolling circles, if you perform these kind of maneuvers, then I reccommend bracing, otherwise, it flies fine without.

I added braces after the first flight, made a big difference for my type of flying.

I'm extremely pleased with the results, it's not as tough as fanfold but as long as you avoid collisions, it's incredible.

Ha, me serious?? Heck, that's only half of it.... Was flying the new Ultra Micro Parkzone Piper Cub, first indoor flight, and it was something to really concentrate on....
It flew flawlessly, but you had to keep your eyes on it as it reached the other end of the gym pretty quick...
As I said, and i know it aint a foamie as we know it on this forum, but I took a Vapor prop and cut it down to 4.5" and gave it a try out in my Condo complex roadway yesterday, no wind and sunny, perfect for that "Try"..
It does slow it down a bit, more manageable now... Had to increase the throws on the rudder and elevator, simple fixes, but it did the trick.
What I did was to measure the original prop on the Cub, 4", and took my calipers set at 2.25", measured from the centre hub to the tip and marked with a white out pen, same for the other side.... Trimmed off excess with scissors.. sanded the tips a bit rounded, screwed on the shaft, then trie it.... Hey, it has almost the same pull as the stock prop, but, much more handleble in the air.... Lower pitch on the cut down Vapor prop did the trick...
I know, this aint cosher for this forum, but had to tell fellows who have these new Ultra Micro kits, how I slowed it down......
One fellow at our event on Sunday, has a Parkzone Champ, a little larger wingspan, but I think with this fix, it should slow it down to a managable handling indoor to...

Got my HK motors in today 2404, I find the prop hub is too big to fit a GWS prop and too small for APC, what do you guys do to make them fit.

Hi Hank

I have used 2402's, similar to the 2404 and I had to drill the prop on a drill press, just deep enough for the prop to sit evenly on the shaft, I just looked at one of the props I drilled earlier, looks like I used a 9/32in. bit and went in approx 3/16 in. Eventually, the 2402 came with an adapter to fit the GWS props.

I've done the same to several props of mine, to fit different prop savers....
Works well, but you have to be careful not to drill too deep... I use the dril bit in a holder for taps, and slowly twist the bit till I get the right depth...
Works, but it's nice to have a prop saver and prop that fit, right off the bat....
Then there is the prop adaptor that has a thread on it, nut and bolt type, only your prop don't survive on a ding.... sometimes... Course, we fellows NEVER hit anything or walls anyway................... Right Gaston???????????? ha ha...

Art, that's why I always carry at least one spare prop, just in case.

My mistake I got the 2402 & the 2403 the 2403 didn't come with the adaptor but the 2402 did. since I work in a machine shop I turned down the hub to fit the prop. to a snug fit.
