Emergency trip to Oregon Ian. I am surprised that nobody from GMAC showed up. How was the grand opening and did the recipients appreciate their Wright Flyers?

Terry, the folks at the evening due at the new MONCTON FLIGHT COLLEGE were impressed with the models that both of us built along with the gentleman from the flying club. You missed a nice chat by a gentleman who is a CURRENT licened pilot of Spitfires and flew them last summer in England. He was not a retired WW II chap but rather in our age bracket.
We had the 1/4 scale Tiger moth, sport scale Mosquito,my Norseman and the Zenair Zodiac.
I hope to post some photos in a few days after I figure our what happend to my home computer last nite. It's being cranky again.
Everyone also had fun on a simulator that was set up to replicate the piolt area of the wright flyer and used the Microsoft program of the Flyer. The guys that did the best and most successful wwere young kids in the 10-14 bracket and the modelers who were there. The full scale guys had a real tough time and never lasted as long as the other two groups.Hummmm!
