Re: A little Sunday morning fun

Flip out screen, no viewfinder.

Its also an antiglare screen.
The bigger planes are easier to follow. Its the little ones when the pilot flies far out that are hard to video

Hey Farmer....

Anyone can throw an airplane around the sky.

Try making it go where you want it and in a straight line, tougher then you think.

As for boring how many times can you watch someone do a waterfall or sit in one place and hover. Helis are for hovering... airplanes fly.

Besides 50% of what I saw in the vid were almost IMAC manouvers so he is already on the right path to enlightenment.

Shouldn't you be out ploughing some fields or something?

I have a Sony HD camcorder with flip out screen & viewfinder. I find the only way to get a clear video of planes up to 75" wingspan is to use the viewfinder. You can also zoom in so you don't just have a tiny dot zipping around in a big blue/grey sky.

FWIW

OK but my wife might get upset and take all my toys away!

10,000 posts is nothing. There is a kid on Flying Giants posted over 15,000 posts in under a year! It's taken me 8+ years to hit 10,000.

Spoken like someone who doesn't fly IMAC!

It's not about the wood! It's about having a purpose when you go out to fly and the apre flying is off the wall!
