Futaba has released a new version of their known 3PK... much of the same but a few new things...

The centre button is now a joystick style butten and they've added a vibrator like the m11...

And a new receiver R143F:

i don't need my radio to play games....I've got my PDA and my PSP trackside with me for that

Nice, but still not enough to convince me to give up my JR R1 PRO SPCM (The mother of all radios!). Comes pimped out with gold wheel, buttons, etc. If they only made a spinner for it....

Because the DSM is made by a 3rd party...and is fully compatible with the new radio.

There are still a lot of people that don't trust the DSM technology. Personally, I like the option of switching from DSM to FM should the need arise.

i'm sure there will be dsm from all the manufacturers sometime soon... i think this was just a reply to the release of the m11... the only reason i might have got an m11 over the 3pk was the vibe function and now people with the same dilema can choose the 3pk... i wonder if i could the vibe function to my current 3pk... hmmmm

ChrisP: Having thought about it I do agree, the ability to switch back and forth as needed would be a nice thing...
A guy at the track this weekend actually had a glitching issue with DSM... He has the DX3 radio as well... I was pitting for him and all was going well then all of a sudden.. throttle was glitching... not sure if he ever figured out why...

Actually if anyone has the RC Driver from a few months back that had a buggy from a guy in Yukon, OK names Son Nyugen - that's him
