Hi
You can use the RCC serach. Just enter AVRO AND ARROW. It will bring up a full page and you can make contacts from there. Cheers |

Of course I did that before posting.....on a number of forums.....found nothing like I am looking for. Lots of depron foamies and some huge replicas but no plans close to the size I want.

Here's some - you could probably scale them up or down to suit your needs.

I know where you find some models. Somewhere in L. Ont. is some models sitting on the bottom. Finders keepers.

Sounds like 1/12th scale
Saw the posts.
If you're building a purely static display model, then the "aerodynamic study" plan view is probably your best shot at the size. The plans are about 1/24th but a good printer will be able to take the plans and blow them up. Failing that, some basic math and drawing skills will get you where you want to be going. Watch out for some of the auctions on eBay (like the one above) as they are misleading about the dimensions (reversed length versus height to make them look bigger). The aerodynamic drawing is approximately 3 feet high by 6-7 feet long, and wingspan comes out to about 24 inches. I've got some 1/24th drawings kicking around and can copy them for you. Contact me via PM if you're interested. |

Not much on help withfinding what you are looking for but I believe one of the advertisers on RCCAnada has a kit Im sure he might be able to help.I think it might be John's hobbies or planes I know he was out of Collingwood.I see his advert every once in awhile when I log in here
On another note My dad worked on this plane I Have in my possesion some tools that where used in its manufacture. One has been modified for another use but on is intact |
