ZDZ 100 NG
Well I have about five tanks of fuel through my 100.So far it's turning a Menz s 26-10 @ 6200 and a Biela 27-10 @ 5900.I have it set up with KS canisters.Hoping to see better numbers when it's broke in although my Carden 330s weighs right around 30lbs. and it has unlimited vertical the way it is.It's not a rocket ship straight up but never quits pulling. So far very happy.Only flown with the Menz so far.

Those aren't bad #s Jack. Once its fully broken in I would expect you to see 6500-6700 with the Menz. Thats when you will need an MSC 27-10 to bring the RPM back down to about 6200, and it will be much quieter too.

header length
Hi Jack,
The KS canisters are tuned, U may be able to get an rpm boost by adjusting the header length. I have a ZDZ 80 single on a KS canister ( had two but, sold one) and both of them turned a Menz S 26x10 at 6700 rpm from the get go. Header length is 12" on the 80, not sure what it would be on the 100. I've been running one of Mike's MSC 25x10's on it for a while now and like it alot better than the Menz. I think his 27x10 would be way too much prop based on your rpm #'s. Of course he, would know better than I I have a DA 100 here that I haven't run yet, it's going in my yet unfinished Carden Edge. I hope it's got more power than my ZDZ 80, otherwise I wasted alot of $. Mike |

Hi Mike
From what I understand the ZDZ 80 is awfully hard to beat.I have my headers at 12 inches.May be to long but their website says don't get headers to short. If it will turn @ 6700 when broke in i'll be happy. My ZDZ 60 on a Bisson pitts style went from 6700 to 7300 on a Bolly 22-10 when it broke in.So there is hope.Let me know what the DA does.Good luck with the Carden Cap.
