HI guys Im trying to put a indoor rc heli flying only here in Mississaug i got a city gym in mind for a 15 person head count to get it booked min.
I fly out out Mississauga Model Flying Club (Tom) not Tom L !
We are 8 guys inc me so far and looking for 7 more to make 15 so i can book the gym at $90 a head for 9 days of flying . Im not here to make money but to get this to happen any extra $ from extra pilots will be added up and get a extra evening of flying.

If you can get your club (Mississauga?) to work with you you should be able to get a school gym for free (well, you pay admin fees). The Ontario government will pay the rental fees for non-profit orgs to use their gyms. The only catch is you a) require your own insurance and b) have to show your non-profit status. MAAC sanctioned clubs meet both of these.

If you're flying at a commercial building then it's a different story . But if not you might want to check out:

No prob. A few things needed:

- charitable org #
- MAAC zone rep adds school to club's list of "fields" and gets head office to issue a copy of the insurance cert with the school board's name on it
- you register with the school board's system for rentals/community use

It sounds more complicated than it is. :laughing:

The caveat is that to fly all pilots are required to have MAAC membership.
