Hi again, I did read some place that the BVM, Yellow, and JHH A4's are in fact from the same mold or at least identical. The ws does vary somewhat, 40-47 inches.
I was planning to make my own inlet (styrofoam and figlass). This would be the full dia. of the fuse and take air in from both stock inlets, air thru the front retract cutout, and also thru a cheater hole in the wing (this would be much more rounded than the plans call for). This is the only way I can get enough air flow. Using only the stock inlets and the cheater hole would only give about 80% of area needed for the Dynamax
Yes the plans I have call for a 14-16 oz. tank to be mounted vertically between the inlets.
For now I guess this one's going to be parked back in the hanger for a while. We're still working on a Byron F-16 (almost ready for paint), and have a few cosmetics to repair on our scratch built Arrow DF.
We were really hoping for the A4 to be our hot rod for this summer, but will still hopefully have lots of fun with the Arrow and the F-16. rcjetguy
