KW Flying Dutchmen Swap Meet 2012
Hello All,
Once again the KWFD will be hosting its annual Swap meet. The event will take place at the Waterloo Rod and Gun Complex (adjacent to our field) Date: Jan 21, 2012 Time: 1-3pm Location: KWFD Field/WRG Complex Tables can be reserved one of three way. -Call me cell number (listed in the flyer) -Email me (link in the flyer) -PM me through RCCanada Also, Following the swap meet we are having a wing night downstairs starting at 4 pm. The Waterloo Gun CLub won this years wingsfest with peoples choice wings. Map to the field will be posted shortly.

I have never been to a swap meet. How does it work if I want a table? Of course I need to prearrange it but once I do that I just bring all the stuff I want to sell and set it for people to rummage through it?

Basically you have a table you can lay out your items onto and then people come and look at them, hagle price etc.
Think of a market but with model airplane, helis and parts.

how big is this event? quantity of tables etc

It is not the same size as london but maybe about half the size. We have 35 tables.

The famous St. Jacob's Farmer's market is 5 minutes away along with the St. Jacob's outlet mall. Drop your better-half off there and come enjoy the swap meet. Then pick her up and come back for some chicken wings!
