Re: DA 50cc will not go full

Is this a new engine or older? Why did you put the carb kit in it?

Too lean on the low needle or overheating?

Re: DA 50cc will not go full

From the sounds of things, the engine is JUST nicely broken in and you will need to retune the High Speed needle (lean it out).

The adjustments are slight and you will have to do a bunch of trial and error as the adjustment on the ground will react differently in the air.

Good Luck!

Re: DA 50cc will not go full

Be careful where you buy your gas! A lot of the gas bar gas has waste oil products in it. Shell premium gas has no alcohol in it. One of my friends spilt some gas on his aircraft and it stripped the epoxy paint off of it. That was gas bar gas.

Re: DA 50cc will not go full

Last summer I bought premium gas at 2 Shell gas stations only 2 days apart and got bad gas in my Mororcycle. I had to drain the tank twice. I was not impressed. Both stations were an hour apart so I figure it may have been the same delivery truck. I've now switched over to Ultra-mar Stations. Cheers Floyd
