Just wondering if you get dinged on duty and tariffs.

Bought some batteries and a charger, got taxed by customs, but the invoice amount was only 1/3 the actual value, so it didn't come out to much. Took about 3 weeks to receive order.

Thumbs up Re: Hobbyking

I've never been taxed on anything from Hobby King. Here's another HK source for some R/C bits: www.dealextreme.com. Free shipping, but be prepared to wait for your goods to arrive.

As for Trex 450 clones, I think this is the best buy going right now: Copter X 450AE V2 kit, $59.99, all metal head and tail, aluminum frame, 100% Trex compatible. http://www.ehirobo.com/shop/product_...oducts_id=5578

Have fun!

Johnny

Re: Hobbyking

I didn't get hit with any duty/extra fee's when I order my batteries... It was only 10 of the 1s 138mah packs though, ~$30 shipped.

Re: Hobbyking

this thread should not have been started in the first place. If you or we have something good going for us, why spoil it by announcing it to "whoever it may concern" for this "situation" to be changed. someday its going to bite us back.....

Re: Hobbyking

I'm curious to know how long the shipping typically takes for "EMS Express" to Canada? Anyone...

Sometimes as little as 2-3 days, but that is from departure to Canada Customs, it COULD sit in customs for up to a week..
