Ontario Stock SC tire rule

I am Looking for feedback on SC Stock.
as the rules sit right now racers are allowed to use any tire/rim combo that comes stock on all SC's.
I have in place a Control Tire with rim and Insert, that we can use that will give all racers in this class a even playing feild on traction, and will make it very easy to tech, making the tire wars go away in stock, as there will be no questions if the tire is actually legal, as there are sooo many out there.
lastly right now this is only a Ontario test pilot unless the other Regions want in, I have been told that Alberta don't want in as they all like Stock tires.
what do you guys want to do?
I will post what the cost of the Control tire is for 4 tires when it is sent to me.
it will be a mounted Panther Soft BOA SC tire with Panther Rims , and a good insert that will work on all different tracks.
I will be working with them to decide on the insert in the coming months.

I don`t run this class but i did run a Mini last year and we had to run a stock tire...stock is stock, you run the tire that comes with the truck. That will also keep cost`s down cause anyone that races knows that you can spend a ton on tiers to get the advantage.

the problem with saying that though is people can still spend a bunch of money buying different tires that come on different RTR's to find what works best, and if you say that you have to run what comes stock on the truck you bought, that will make some brands non-raceable if their tires suck, I know the new Losi RTR comes with something very similar to bowties which would work 1000 times better in most cases than any of the conventional RTR tires,

I dont run this class either, but IMO if you can get racers a good deal on a set of spec tires its probably going to save most people money in the end since in a lot of cases people will probably end up buying the Losi RTR tires at full pop after they buy their truck anyway,

The cost to run a set of Panther Boas, in soft compound, premounted is $30, I just recieved the email.
I'm pretty sure thats cheaper than the RTR tires for a set of 4

I was just on the Panther site andif you where to order everything seperate with out running them in RC Pro it will cost you over $70 for these.
By the way Panther has from the looks of it all the types of SC rims out there, when you order the control tire you need to order for your Make of SC Truck

Why would you go with Panther Joe? did you try getting in contact with any good tire companies?

Im kidding, settle down and breathe.

I applaud your efforts for getting a great tire at a great price for racers.
30 bucks is a steal, especially for the useless things they call tires that come stock.

This season keeps getting better and better

lol!! Jack @$$
I am working to help all of our racers in all the classes!
I think the control tire would help keep the cost down and make for some good racing, as guys won't have the problem of no traction, some might find to much and have to work on shocks to compensate the extra traction.
Also Obviously Panther is one of the RC PRO Ontario sponsors which I need to announce..lol!!
