Dynam SU26 motor "knocks" at low speed

I've got a new Dynam SU-26M with a stock motor and ESC. When I started the motor for the first time, there was a "knocking" noise at minimum throttle setting. It runs fine at any other throttle setting, but every time I slow it down, the knock returns. . Sounds to me like it might have something to do with the ESC

Any ideas?

That's most likely timing on the ESC. Check the ESC manual to find out how to change the timing and experiment. You'll likely find a setting that works.

It is he timing of the esc. I had to set mine when it was new. It did the same thing as you are describing. If you go to motion rc they have a youtube channel with a video that shows exactly this condition and how to program your esc. It is very easy to do, especially after watching the video.

Or you can just set the range, and fly the sucker. I've been flying my Tigermoth for 2 years with no problems. The only problem encountered was a failed amp that was plugged into the ESC / Throttle lead. I removed it and it works fine.
