Does anyone recognize this Airplane?

I picked this NARF (Not Almost Ready to Fly) airplane at the London Swap Meet last weekend and have still not been able to figure out the name of the kit or its manufacturer.

It looks kind of like a stand-off scale Super Chipmunk and is made from a fairly dense styrofoam with a plywood spine running between the fuselage halves. The wingspan is 44.75" (1140mm) and it has an aluminum motor mount that looks like it would take a .15 sized glow engine.

My best guess is that it is around 20 years old. I have a styrofoam 50" Sure Flite Spitfire (still NIB) that I picked up in the mid 90s (one of those "this is really neat" purchases) and the foam/construction are similar.

Any help identifying this airplane and its maker would be most appreciated.

Dave

Yes, I had one that I bought from my science teacher. I never did anything with it.
