Hi I'm new one in this hobby, and i would ask you for some help.
I'm buying a nitro powered truck and i haven't decided yet which one would be the best choice for me. I would also need all the equipment from wrench to charger and fuel. So if u can provide me with some ideas i would really appreciate that.
Is there anybody near Cranbrook BC who can show me the stuff?
Thx

what to buy?

I would say that You should buy what is available in you area and price range. I love my hpi Savage X It is solid and takes a real beating .i also have a Tamiya tnx i love that one too . but the savage parts I can pick up in the local hobby shop. The Tamiya parts are available, but I have to order them. This ordering parts issue was the whole reason I got the Savage. My Buddies have the t-maxx and revo trucks by traxxas ,they are great trucks too but I wouldn't trade my Savage for either of them .The guy with the t-maxx wants a savage and the guy with the revo thinks he's the cat's a$$. If you have the cash and they are available locally get the Revo 3.3 or the savage X . I would highly recommend buying your first truck new not used it makes it easier to learn the hobby when you know exactly what you are starting with. Good luck.

It all depends on how much you can afford to spend. Jumping into the hobby by purchasing something that it too much truck/car for you can be very expensive in the long run( replacing parts, hop-ups, ect...) If you are green to the hobby, I recommend a 1/10 scale 2 wheel drive stadium truck to start with. They are relitively not too expensive, HPI and Traxxas both have RTR's for under $500.oo. All you need is Batteries and fuel..Once you get the hang of that, then go Bigger like the Savage X or T-Maxx.
