I havent seen anyone post on this or maybe you have but I wanted to know what you guys have seen on the Traxxas Jato. It looks very nice and I am considering it as my first "NEW" R/C. Do anyone have a release date or anything along those lines any info you may have seen that I havent would be great.

i wouldnt run out and buy one yet, until you get some info on it as far as reliability and performance, but being as its from traxxas, im sure parts will be fairly easy to come by.

Available in hobby stores everywhere, April 2005

No actual date but considering that they say April and were near the end im guessing April 25-30. Give a phone call to one of the stores they could probably give you an exact date.

And all i know about it is that its 2wheel drive and if you dont control it right it will slide and go crazy.

last months and this months RC Car Action has write ups about the new Jato in it. might wanna check them out before you go out and buy one.

Read both mags and have been to the LHS still no release date. Oh well just a waiting game to see what she is like.
