Re: Elk Point, Canada Day Long (2013)

Work calls. "Canada Day" no less. Well after I got home I still had 20L of un mixed fuel left. 3L of mixed. I took about 58L, then an additional 20L one day when I was heading past the Shell station.
So at the end of my Holiday, Huckfest/ Canada long. I burnt approx 55L of mixed fuel. Again not a broken prop, lost cowl, canopy bolt etc. Very successful event(s).
Thank-you once again to Jody/Rhonda, and all that help them host some of the best events in western Canada. Photo's later.
I managed to make my 50th flight on my 3.1M Sukhoi last eve. Tuesday, it will be 3 weeks old!

Ron, I'm thinking Ken is in his mid 40's.
"Fun" get's re-defined around 46ish. By 50, the nap's start. Now I don't have as much experiance as you with the 50 plus thing (respectfully).
But a lot can still be called fun, and a nap in there.

Sounds like that work thing is getting in the way.

(all a joke man)

It's a lot easier to burn fuel when you have time to get your nap in to. But I'm still known as "That Guy" that starts making noise in the morning. Then all the camper doors start banging in the campground, ha-ha.

Your pretty close to the age thing (lol). As for a nap thing I've been knowen to dose off according to the wifey (but u know how they exanderate lol).

I've had the privalage of flying with Ron a few times now, he handles that 50 plus thing pretty well. LOL
