I started with a Blade CP Pro with little sim experience and can state that it was a real adventure. The only thing that kept me in the heli game was the low cost of parts.

If I had $1 000 to blow on on a heli (because you need extra batteries, parts, lipo charger, etc...) I would go with the Trex.

That said, the $300 you'll spend on the Blade CP will give you a good taste of heli flying and give you the time you need to find out if you're a heli guy at a relatively low cost.
