Well, still slow going but got back at it tonight.
Having a bit better time with the monokote now.
I did find that if I clear the surface regularly with high pressure air from my compressor, the surface sands much smoother. I sanded down to 400 grit blew it off and did it again, seemed to leave no grain afterwards.
Then blow it off again, quite aggresively and then tack cloth it like crazy before and during covering.
I also decided to do the yellow as a base and lay the blue and red overlapping to try and keep the yellow bright. Most of the resulting seams are on the bottom and not very noticeable.

Re: Carden 32.5% Yak Build

Definately a departure from scale but I need something on the bottom for orientation obviously. Thanks for the comment, hope to keep it moving along.

Re: Carden 32.5% Yak Build

Thanks guys,
And Jim did mention he had one in this scheme before. I like the scheme and it has simple base colours. B&E did the graphics.
I am no great advocate of casinos but an all women aerobatic team, why not.
Hope to have both wings done by the end of the weekend.
