Picton club
Hi, I will be spending time in Picton Ont. this summer and wondered if anyone knows if there is a new flying field. I had read that the field became a solar farm but would appreciate any info about the club and if its still active.
Thanks RCAW |

Re: Picton club
Richard, the Picton Club (Officially: Prince Edward Radio Control Flying Club A.K.A The County RC Flyers) does have a new field. Look it up on http://percfc.ca/. If you are in Picton it will be closer to you than the BoQA field. That said, the BoQA field is beautiful, very well kept, and about 3 Km from my front door. (So why do I never get out to fly?)

Re: Picton club
Richard, here's a link to the PERCFC on Google Maps. I haven't flown at the new field but a few years ago I did have the pleasure of flying at the previous location. It's a very nice club and very hospitable.

Re: Picton club
Thanks guys for the info, I'll be sure to get out there. They must be working on the website, because none of the links work for me as far as contacting someone. Perhaps it will be fixed later.

Re: Picton club
Strange; I just used the links for both the BoQAC and PERCFC in above posts and they came up instantly. Try again.

Re: Picton club
Whoa! I never noticed that! I've not been part of any of the clubs around here for the past year (too much travelling and other activities) and as such have had limited contact with the guys. I'll check into that and see what I an find out.
