Question HZ Super Cub upgraded - use X-port?

I am going to upgrade my old HZ Supercub (NiMH) to use my DX6i and a more powerful motor etc. is there any way to use the X-port? My kids like to chase the bombs so is there something I can add so I can still use the bomb release?

2 options:

1) The Hobbyzone SC DSM2 brick #HBZ7357 supports the X-port. This limits your motor upgrade options though.

2) Buy the EZ-XPORT (hint: try a google search for EZ-XPORT). It replicates the X-port and can be connected to a standard RX (Like the AR600) much like a servo.

Great, I sent off an e-mail to the guy who makes them, hopefully they aren't to expensive - might stick one on the corsair as well!!

Boy at $35 per device that is awefully expensive to be able to drop some bombs. Will have to try to find something else.

You could use an inexpensive servo for the bomb drop. Do a Google search, there are some examples out there.
