Simcoe RC Club Open Fun Fly -- Sat. June 23, 2012
SIMCOE FUN FLY hosted by the Simcoe R/C Flying Club. Saturday June 23th - 10:00am till 3:00pm.
Located at our field on the Demaree Sod Farm. Turn west off of Hwy24 onto Windham Rd 12 (Harmony Rd.) (at the Agraturf Dealer) Travel 1/2 mile to the laneway on the north side. (911# 1567) Side entrance to Demaree Sod Farm. Follow the signs in! All types of aircraft are welcome! MAAC required. No landing fee. Free lunch provided for pilots. Come on out and join the fun! Rain Date: Sunday June 24th. All 72 MHz radio transmitters will be impounded (no impound for 2.4 GHz). Follow this thread for any last minute changes about the funfly. As we fly from a sod farm, we don't have a permanent location and move our landing area around as the sod is removed. This year we are located in the middle of the farm and north facing from the sun. As there are no trees where we are it would be advisable to bring some sort of shade. Looking forward to a great day of flying!!! Chris

The weather is really shaping up to be a great weekend for flying.
After two years of crappy conditions for our funfly, the humidity is breaking Thursday evening, the winds are forecast calm, sunny and temps around 24C on Saturday. Yes!!! A great flying day is appearing!!!  Chris

Just got told that i have to work this weekend so unfortunately i wont be coming down
 , not happy but need the money for the next project. sorry was looking forward to it.
