I thought after i put together my truck id take it out for a test drive.....
First it didnt wanna idle...then i got it to idle for 5 seconds till i pushed on the gas. Died like 30 seconds later and didnt wanna start plug was fully charged along with the glow plug, that was brand new.

Any ideas? Oh, if i braked, and it would stay at idle for like 3 seconds and it sounded like it would die...

Please help. Thanks

im running %30 sidewinder 30/12 with the extra .1 mm underhead shim

**UPDATE**

all i needed was a blow drier, heated up the block, and a few turn overs it fired right up strong

there were no problems after all

sounds like the compression is gone try a hotter plug... if this remedies the problem it means that your piston and sleeve are toast and u'll need to resize, or replace ...

impossible that the compression is gone. i can feel tons of compression
