Hi Kevin,

Any chance at getting the color codes Canadian tire used?

What did you use to prep/thin the paint to be sprayed?

And is it now glow/gas proof, or will you need to apply a finishing coat of some kind?

Thanks,
Dean

Strange cyber stuff going on with this thread....posts are appearing both here and in General RC discussions where it is marked moved

Too bad the contest is nearly over....looks like an easy way to get double ballots

As far as the color match goes , just get the color chips you want matched and they can scan them match them dead on .You could even spray some plastic model paint of the right color on a small card and they could scan that to . There was not much prep for the paint .. primer , light scuff and then a little water in the paint to thin it out before spraying.I think the latex is gas proof as it sits ,but I will be clear coating after I am done weathering it .

Talk about going crazy ....... You should try a lozenge pattern!

Not a documented pattern but one a builder (of a full size) put together.
