Breaking in with old fuel?

I've got a brand new OS25FP that I'm going to break in this evening.

Coincidentally, last night while rifling through my garage for some tools I came across an old bottle of 15% fuel that is still half full.

Best I can remember this was bought probably 6 years or so while I had some land based RC toys.

Its tightly sealed and appears to be just fine, so I'm tempted to use it tonight for the break in as opposed to using my current bottle of Byron.

I'd trust it to run the engine on the ground, but I wouldn't fly with it...so it seems like a worthwhile use.

Anyone see any potential problems with this?

That's not old. If it has been sealed you will be okay. I have some I have been using that I have had longer. Runs fine in the air or on the ground. Never tried it for long on the ground though.

Didn't think it would be a problem...

Since I'll be running it slobbering rich for the break-in unless as long as there's still castor oil (which can't have magically dissapeared or evaporated) and there's enough nitromethane left to fire the engine, it should run fine.

I guess I'll know in a few hours.

I had a gallon of cool power in my garage for 15 years. Used it this summer with no problems.
