Heavy duty drawer slides

Hello

I'm looking for a Canadian source for heady drawer slides that can extend at least 60 inches.

I have a source in USA but the cost of importing and shipping is just too much.

https://www.amazon.com/Drawer-Slide-...D7NDP8JR9AN8GD

I would appreciate any info.

Thanks

Re: Heavy duty drawer slides

the company I work for uses them, we get them thru Richelieu hardware they are located in Mississauga, or Dayvan in north york Ontario. Ask Home Depot if you can special order them in. It is a Accuride slide.

Re: Heavy duty drawer slides

Hi Peter...

Those slides are actually not Accuride but from Hettich. I have an account with them. The Accuride equivalent is indeed available through Richelieu Hardware, but very expensive. Id have to call my Hettich salesperson next week to get a cost for you, but I imagine they will be more than through the US supplier (as is most things).

Best to give me a call at the shop if youre interested next week. 705 268-3353

Re: Heavy duty drawer slides

Hi Peter what are the odds that 2 people from La Salle have drawer slides in common. I was hunting around for them as well for my flight sim and I was eventually led to

Re: Heavy duty drawer slides

A retailer ( mine of choice) simply looking after his own interest. Not credible...

Re: Heavy duty drawer slides

I guess I should have read a little more thoroughly. Miller's when I was there were only up to 20" to 22" and were Accuride.

Re: Heavy duty drawer slides

I had a look today, from all the hardware suppliers I deal with (been in the furniture and cabinet business for nearing 3 decades) only 60" full extensions I can find are the Hettich ones like in the Amazon link, and the Accurides which I can source through Richelieu.

The accurides are silly expensive... would cost more than the US ones. Im interested to see what the Hettich ones will cost. You have to buy through a Hettich dealer but there should be no issue. Closest to me is in North Bay (Commonwealth Plywood Co. Ltd.) but the main offices/warehouse is in SOuthern ON.

Ill look elsewhere next week. I was away from work for the past few days since I saw this post.
