I don't think you'd be disapointed with any of these planes. There are so many nice ARF's out there these days it's amazing, and they just get better with every generation.

You are absolutely right, I used to kit build, not no more. That Extreme Flight Yak is a beauty. Just checking out prices to see which one is going to be the best deal shipped to my door.

Starting into IMAC

Hi Jim, where is the best place to start into IMAC flying? Do you think I should start learning with the 74" wing Yak or go for the 88" one.

Depends if you wanna stay glow or go gas? A larger airplane is always easier to fly and if yiu want 50cc class like your thread states then go 88". The 74" is made for the OS 1.60 2S. The OS ain't to bad o fuel but you can't beat a gasser for fuel economy and you cna get gas 365/24/7!

Don't skimp on servos whatever you get.
