Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Dale... MVVS190 needs to go in the Suhkoi IMO! Then put the 180 somewhere else. The Suhkoi can handle the weight and the 190 offsets the 2lbs of that Jack jammed in the nose for CG!!

As for headers, just cut the aluminum headers off below the "Y" and fab up new 28mm SS headers extensions in whatever configuration/drop/rise you need and attach to the aluminum "Y" with a teflon coupler - you can get around any wingtube/LG interference issues this way.

I can help you fab up those 28mm SS stubs whenever you are ready. Curves, bends, straights, even flex peices... anything goes and sky is the limits. Just takes a couple hours to fab up whatever you need.

The 190 in the Suhkoi is the ultimate in airplane packages. Throwing it in a wooden ARF just seems wrong Very 1960's

I love your way of putting things. But yes the Sukhoi was designed around a quad. The header drop is only about 25mm or so.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Mine runs great but I just listed it for sale. (jack will be all over this). Just makes the plane a little heavy. The power is there and it runs very nice and smooth. I can text you a video of it flying if you pm me your number

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

We had the numbers somewhere maybe earlier in this thread. From what I remember it was spinning a 25-8 wide between 6600 and 6800
